Mohari Hospitality has taken 100% ownership of the Four Seasons Hotel Madrid as part of the asset distribution of the Centro Canalejas JV with OHLA, recorded in April 2026, over one of the most unique luxury hotel assets in the city center.
Transaction details: total price, not disclosed · price per key, not disclosed · price per square meter, not disclosed · 200 rooms.
Parties: buyer, Mohari Hospitality · seller, OHLA.
Historical background: this is not the first time the asset has changed hands. In 2017, Mohari acquired 50% of Centro Canalejas for 225 M€; in 2018, OHL bought a 32,5% stake from Grupo Villar Mir for 50 M€ (up to 60 M€ subject to conditions). The 2026 transaction —the asset distribution of the Centro Canalejas JV, closed on April 29— consolidates Mohari's control over an asset in which it has been present since its inception.
Key takeaway: a prime urban trophy asset in the Sol-Congreso axis, featuring the Four Seasons brand and established international luxury demand; the kind of product that rarely hits the market and draws intense global capital appetite.
